Surgical Protocol
Surgery & Obstetrics
Surgical interventions at Anka Veterinary Clinic are procedures performed with tissue integrity preservation, anesthesia management, and high sterilization standards.

Our medical team supports your pet's recovery process with appropriate surgical planning and techniques.
- Surgical Safety Protocol
01
Anesthesia Management
Multimodal anesthesia protocols personalized according to the patient's age and general health aim to reduce operation risks. Vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, SpO2) are monitored with devices throughout the process.
"Not neglecting the use of an Elizabethan collar after surgery is the most critical step in preventing wound dehiscence and infection."
02
Sterile Operation Standards
Our surgery room is managed with high-sterility protocols to reduce the risk of infections. Every operation uses disposable sterile supplies and surgical sets processed through pressurized steam sterilization (autoclave).
03
Soft Tissue and Emergency Surgery
A wide spectrum of surgical techniques is applied, from neutering operations to tumor excisions, emergency abdominal surgery to hernia repairs. Every tissue loss is closed with surgical suturing methods focused on aesthetic and functional recovery.
04
Obstetrics and Neonatal Diagnostics
The health of mothers and offspring is monitored according to clinical protocols through high-risk pregnancy follow-up, Cesarean operations, and neonatal resuscitation support. Both the mother's recovery and the newborns' vital development are monitored post-partum.
Clinic Note
Pre-Anesthetic Blood Work
We do not start any surgery without analyzing organ functions, even for seemingly healthy pets. Blood work is a roadmap of how anesthesia will be tolerated by the liver and kidneys.
