Imaging & Laboratory
Correct treatment starts with correct diagnosis. At Anka Veterinary Clinic, biochemical analysis and digital imaging methods are used synchronously to support the diagnostic process.

Our clinical equipment and laboratory facilities help evaluate findings more quickly.
- Rapid Diagnosis Unit
Digital Ultrasonography (USG)
High-Resolution Digital X-Ray
Comprehensive Hemogram and Biochemistry
"Giving only water to your pet on the day of testing and completely cutting off food is critical for the most accurate results."
Hormonal and Specific Tests
Advantage of Digital X-Ray
Thanks to digital X-ray, which provides much higher contrast compared to traditional bath systems, bone structure and changes in tissues are evaluated more clearly.
About Diagnostic Management
Modern Diagnostic Standards 2026
Anesthesia is not required for most exposures; however, light sedation may be necessary in cases requiring stability in specific positions or if the patient is in significant pain to improve imaging quality.
For abdominal USG, an 8-12 hour fasting period and a full bladder significantly increase diagnostic quality by preventing stomach contents from shadowing the image.
In our in-clinic laboratory, complete blood count and biochemistry results are usually reported within 30-60 minutes. Culture tests or tests sent to external laboratories may take longer.
Lipemia (fat levels) in the blood can dominate measured values and lead to incorrect results. Therefore, an 8-12 hour fasting period is essential for clear clinical data.
X-ray and USG findings are not just images, but clinical puzzle pieces combined with the patient's symptoms and laboratory data, interpreted holistically by our veterinarians.
While organ function screening is sufficient for young animals, cardiac monitoring (Eco) and detailed biochemical panels are an integral part of our check-up protocol for geriatric patients.
